The Good, The Bad & The Sweaty......

Instead of spending last night on the couch with the TV remote I decided I was feeling energetic and went along to a Bikram Yoga class. A 90-minute class that circles through a series of 26 yoga poses in a room that is heated to a whooping 40 degrees. If you're thinking anyone who would voluntarily sign up for that is crazy, you be might right. But despite the suffocating heat, it's oddly invigorating. And, more and more people are taking up hot yoga as a beneficial treatment for your mind, body, spirit, muscles, hair and yes SKIN.

As you sweat, all the toxins and waste products in the pores are released allowing the bodies natural lipids (oils) to be realised, softening and preserving your skin's elasticity. However, there are some people, like me, who do suffer from sensitive or dry skins and find, particularly after a hot yoga session, that their skin can be drier than usual.

Say hello to Hemp Hemp Hooray's Special Body Blend. A luxurious blend of Australian grown organic hemp seed oil which is rich in EFAs (essential fatty acids) that are vital for normal human cell functions, CO vegetable oils and CO essential oils such as cypress - which helps to remove toxins from the body, marjoram and chamomile - which aid in calming and relaxing the body.

How to use, you ask? After a hot sesh of Bikram Yoga, jump into the shower, dry skin and apply Hemp Hemp Hooray's Special Body Blend Oil, massaging into tired achy muscles and joints or simply use to relax after a tough workout.
